Presence Nexus One, Google’s mobile phone design, began to reap the victim. Because the market will focus Nexus One, Vodafone release their plan to cancel smartphone Xperia Sony Ericsson X2 made exclusively in England.

Xperia X2-based Windows was originally released exclusively by Vodafone in the UK last year. But the plan was delayed even eventually removed from the agenda of the coming of a new phone on Vodafone UK website.

“Vodafone UK will not enter the Sony Ericsson X2. Schedule launch the device with Windows 6.5 was postponed before Christmas because of some technical problems and we have decided to not launch it because it no longer fit with our portfolio plan,” said a statement released on Vodafone as reported by the Telegraph website.

Furthermore, Vodafone will be more focus on the smartphone device that offers more application. Especially Apple iPhone now supported by no less than 120,000 applications and Android-based smartphones, including the Nexus dalmnya One has supported about 20,000 applications.

This certainly makes the cancellation disappointment for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 was released in the UK fail. However, on the other hand, Sony Ericsson promises more innovative devices this year.
