XL Corporate With BlackBerry

mobile operator XL Axiata eventually participate in the service Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). This service is provided to corporate customers as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
According to Budi Harjono, Head of Mobile Data Service XL, Hosted BES service provided by XL allows customers to enjoy the features of corporate BlackBerry without the cost of investments for the provision of supportive devices, such as servers and software.
Hosted BES service, the customer will get an email facilities Hosted Microsoft Exchange Server that is integrated as well as Hosted Microsoft Office Communications Server is a facility and office applications, chat, messaging.
With this integrated service features are available, including real-time synchronization for calendar, contacts, and task manager. Hosted services for the provision of this BES, XL took PT Infinys System Indonesia as a strategic partner.
This service subscription fee ranging from Rp 333.000/bulan/pelanggan. “The cost is included for the BlackBerry service, Hosted BlackBerry and charge fees for BES License,” said Budi.
Currently XL BlackBerry subscribers had amounted to 250 thousand. XL also has a bandwidth capacity of 180 Mbps BlackBerry via a direct connection to Research in Motion (RIM) through dual carrier partners.
