Robot 'Breathe' Make Easy owner

Robot that simulates the movement, including breathing, there was already a lot. But this time a real robot can inhale and exhale air. It claimed the ability to make calm owner.Snoozy the robot named Sloth was designed as a stuffed animal lemur. Designed by Justin Blinder, a student, Parsons The New School of Design, Snoozy’s robots seem like a glimpse of ordinary doll.
But behind the appearance that, Snoozy was able to breathe. Not just a simulation of body movement, the robot that simulates the process of inhale and exhale air.
As quoted from Gizmodo, Tuesday (19/5/2009), Snoozy breathing ability enabled him to calm their owners. “An intimate interaction but that will create passive quiet and comfortable owner,” said Blinder.
Snoozy the respiratory system is made Blinder with Arduino electronic components, twin diaphragm pump and a latek gloves that serve as the lungs. Air will enter into the glove and inhaling effect, then the air will come out from the glove and blow through the mouth Snoozy.
We have created a new robot for the task Blinder subjects ‘Making Toys’ at Parsons. Not yet clear whether the later Blinder will ’sell’ the idea Snoozy to be mass produced.
