Gamescom, Feast of The Gamers

Cologne – Day a week long party had just ended. Gamescom 2009 which was held in Cologne Germany from 19-23 Agustus recorded as interactive games and exhibits the world’s largest entertainment.
With the slogan “Celebrating Games” gamescom 2009 has been able to attract 245,000 visitors and 458 companies from 31 countries, a celebration and a great party.
The exhibition was previously named Games Convention (2002-2008) originally was always held in the German city of Leipzig. Although games convention has been recognized as one of electronic games and exhibits the largest computer in Europe, associations of interactive entertainment software Germany (Bundesverband Interactive Unterhaltungssoftware – Biu) decided to give a new sensation and chose Cologne city to host the biggest party this year gamers.
In an area of 120,000 square meters, during 4 days of gaming and entertainment company leading interactive displays of their flagship products. All the visitors can enjoy the latest games by no less than 10,000 game consoles in four main exhibition hall.
Interactive games with the theme music, like Guitar Hero (Activision) and Sing Star (Sony) became a favorite among visitors. Another interactive game that motivates players to move more actively also become a separate trend in this exhibition.
Apart from the beauty gamescom, actually not too many new things are shown. Announcement slim Playstation (Sony) probably becoming the only big surprise in the performance this time.
The exhibitors are selected to give a new touch to the product that had previously existed, Diablo III (Blizzard), Startcraft II (Blizzard), Evoluation Pro Soccer 10 (Konami), Grand Theft Auto IV (Rockstar Games), and Assassin’s Creed 2 (Ubisoft ), Fable 3 (Microsoft) are some of them.
However, some companies still try to introduce some products are really new, Monster Hunter Tri (Capcom), Napoleon-Total War (Sega), and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (Konami) are some of the few new products are present in gamescom 2009.
Gamescom 2010 will again be held in Cologne on 18-22 August 2010. The development of information technology is fast becoming a distinct advantage for this industry. New products better and revolutionary is likely to appear within a period of one year, maybe even one of them is a product native to Indonesia.
