A study conducted by Hewlett-Packard (HP), show that more than 90% among decision makers in business, confident that the business cycle
will continue to be the uncertainty in the next few years.

This is expressed by Damien Wong, General Manager, Southeast Asia, HP Software and Solutions, as found detikINET in Oakwood, Area Kuningan Jakarta, Thursday (7/1/2010). “From the research undertaken HP, 90% of Chief Information Officer (CIO) in a number of Asian companies on average realized that the business cycle to be in front of uncertainty,” he said.

Damien intended uncertainty here is with the increasing operational needs of the company, then the CIO is required to bring the company more clever to better direction. Damien also tells how HP helped the company to react quickly and flexibly in the face of business demands continue to change, and answer customer complaints and concerns in conducting the adoption of cloud computing.

Also Damien also said that 79% of CIOs also want the flexibility in operations, so that it can suppress the rate of productivity and innovation.
